Pioneer Complete offers two types of protection against computer viruses: on-demand and on-access scanning. On-demand scanning means that Pioneer Complete will only look for viruses on your computer when you choose to do so. On-access scanning means that every file that is opened on your computer, or loaded onto your computer, is checked for viruses. This offers the best protection against viruses and it is therefore strongly recommend that you use On-access scanning.
On the Pioneer Complete
Console, click the Antivirus
button
.
On the Antivirus menu, click Antivirus Settings.

Select the on-access scanning option that you want to use:
Off – On-access scanning is disabled; you are not optimally protected against viruses. Files will not be scanned automatically. You have to perform an On-demand scan in order to detect viruses.
On – On-access scanning is enabled. Files will automatically be checked for virus and you will be receive an Antivirus Alert when a virus is found.
On – automatically try to repair infected files – On-access scanning is enabled. Files will be checked automatically for viruses and you will receive an Antivirus Alert when a virus is found. In addition, Pioneer Complete will try to repair the infected file by removing the virus from it.
