You can restrict the use of certain Microsoft® Windows® features to prevent overriding Internet Controls Settings. The restrictions include:
Preventing editing of the Windows Register using the Registry Editor.
Preventing use of the Windows Task Manager.
Preventing modification of Internet Explorer settings from the Internet Options on the Tools menu.
Note: If you configured Pioneer Complete Suite for multiple users or if you have required a password for changing Pioneer Complete Suite settings, you have to log in as a Privileged User or provide your E-mail address and Password in order to set Restrict Users from Bypassing Internet Controls.
On the
Pioneer Complete Console, click the Internet Controls button
.
On the Internet Controls menu, click Internet Controls Settings.

In the Pioneer Complete Suite Settings window, the right pane displays the Internet Controls settings.
Check the Restrict users from bypassing Internet Controls check box.
Click Set Details. The Pioneer Complete Suite Settings window displays a list of Windows features.
Check the boxes to the left of the Windows features that you want to restrict:
Disable Registry Editing
Disallow use of the Task Manager
Disable Internet Options in Internet Explorer
Click OK to close the window.
Click Apply. If you require your E-mail address and Password to change Internet Controls Settings, the Password Required dialog box displays. Type your E-mail address and Password, and click OK.
Click OK to close the Pioneer Complete Suite Settings window.
Note: If you make a change and then attempt to close the Pioneer Complete Suite Settings window before clicking Apply or OK to save the changes, a message is displayed asking if you want to save the changes. Click Yes to save the changes, or click No to exit the window.
