The Internet Controls feature contains Web Filtering settings used to control the Web sites accessed by users of the computer. Pioneer Complete Suite comes with five built-in filtering levels that you can fine-tune to suit your personal needs. These features are set during the initial setup of Pioneer Complete Suite, but you can update these settings at any time.
Note: If you configured Pioneer Complete Suite for multiple users or if you have required a password for changing Pioneer Complete Suite settings, you have to log in as a Privileged User or provide your E-mail address and Password in order to change the Web Filtering options.
Note: If you have set up Pioneer Complete Suite for multiple users, you can set a different filtering level for each user. You have to be logged on as a Privileged User in order to be able to change the filtering level for any user.
On the
Pioneer Complete Console, click the Internet Controls button
.
On the Internet Controls menu, click Internet Controls Settings.

In the Pioneer Complete Suite Settings window, the right pane displays the Internet Controls settings.
Note: If you configured Pioneer Complete Suite for multiple users, select the user that you want to Set Web Filtering Options for from the drop-down list at the top of the right pane.
Select one of the following Web Content Filtering options:
No filtering – All Web sites can be accessed by a user with no restrictions.
Low filtering (filtering on, webchat/webmail enabled) – All Web sites can be viewed except sites included in the selected Web Filtering Detail categories. All available categories are selected by default except Chat and Web Mail.
Medium filtering (filtering on, webchat/webmail disabled) – All Web sites can be viewed except sites included in the selected Web Filtering Detail categories. All available categories are selected by default.
High Filtering (approved sites only) – When High Filtering is set, a user can only access Web sites included in the Approved Sites List.
Block web access completely – Any access to the World Wide Web is prohibited.
Click Apply. If you require your E-mail address and Password to change Internet Controls Settings, the Password Required dialog box displays. Type your E-mail address and Password, and click OK.
Click OK to close the Pioneer Complete Suite Settings window.
Note: If you make a change and then attempt to close the Pioneer Complete Suite Settings window before clicking Apply or OK to save the changes, a message displays asking if you want to save the changes. Click Yes to save the changes, or click No to exit the window
When a user attempts to access a restricted Web site, Pioneer Complete Suite displays a block-page stating Sorry! This page is not available to you in the browser. Simultaneously, a Internet Controls Alert is generated.
The block-page contains an Allow this site link. The Add Content Filter Exception window displays from which you can allow access to the site. Click the Refresh button in your browser after adding the site to the exception list to display the page.
Note: If you use the Approved Sites List, the block-page contains an additional link that takes you back to the index page of the approved site list.
