Pioneer Complete Suite can update all the data files that it uses with, for example, the Web Content Filter and the SpyCatcher, as well as its own program files. Pioneer Complete Suite frequently checks for available updates and uses your computer's idle time to download them in the background. There are several ways that your computer can be updated:
When an update becomes available, if your system has been idle for at least 15 minutes, Pioneer Complete Suite will automatically download updates to your computer.
If you are using your computer and an update has been downloaded to your computer, Pioneer Complete Suite displays an Update Alert message box informing you that an update has been downloaded and is ready to be installed. You can choose whether you want to install the updates immediately or not. Choosing Yes will install the updates. Choosing No will not install the updates. The Update Alert message box will display again the next time you log onto your computer.
If Web Content Filtering is configured and the Web Content Filter has not been updated at the time the user first accesses the Internet, Pioneer Complete Suite updates your computer before allowing the user to access the Internet
You can also check at any time if updates are available.
In the
Pioneer Complete Suite Console,
click the Help button
.
On the Help menu, click Check for Software Updates.

Note:
Alternatively, you can click on the small envelope
in the
top-left corner of the
Pioneer Complete Console until the Update
Now link appears. Click the link to continue.
The Pioneer Complete Suite Update window displays.
Pioneer Complete Suite will check for available updates for all its components and install any updates that are found, as well as previously downloaded updates that have not been installed yet. Depending on whether updates are found, and on the nature of such updates, you might have to restart your computer at the end of the update process.
Restart your computer when you are asked to do so.
Note: If you discontinue your service with Authentium, you are no longer eligible for updates. Updates will no longer be downloaded automatically. When you check for updates you will receive a message that the update attempt failed. Not receiving updates means that Pioneer Complete Suite will lose functionality and you will no longer be optimally protected.
